Ten-Year Tape

A real decade of the stock market, replayed at speed. When the bell rings you get a secret ten-year stretch of market history from any point since the mid-1990s, ten big companies from ten different industries, and three index funds: an S&P 500 fund, a dividend fund and a Nasdaq-100 fund. In older decades those are the real funds that existed at the time, and some companies may go bankrupt or get bought out along the way. Every chart follows the companies' actual daily closing prices, but their names and tickers are disguised and the years are hidden. Headlines hit the tape a few trading days before the move they caused. Read the news, place your trades, build your career, and finish with the most money.

Prices are adjusted for splits and dividends, so a stock's chart shows what a holder actually earned. Dates show as Year 1 through Year 10.
